The Inter-Tel 3000 (formerly the EncoreCX) is an extremely versatile and flexible phone system.
Any phone jack can be used with a digital "proprietary" corded phone, an analog proprietary corded phone, a multi-line proprietary cordless phone, a single-line proprietary cordless phone, or a single-line analog phone.Cordless phones that use digital radio transmission (such as the long-range EnGenius phones below) but have analog phone connections, will work fine.You can also connect phone-like devices, such as modems, fax machines and credit card verification terminals; and they can share the same group of phone lines as human beings.The Inter-Tel phones shown on this page are for use ONLY in an Inter-Tel 3000 or Inter-Tel EncoreCX phone system. They will not work without a control unit, or with any other control unit. DO NOT order if you don't have or plan to get an Inter-Tel 3000 or EncoreCX phone system.
